I have a general rule of thumb. One pair of socks for every day of the week you play or practice. For example, if you play 3 days a week and practice 3 days you will need 6 pairs of socks. Also, I like to have a fresh pair when I play each day in a tournament.

This will depend on you. The World’s Best Golf Sock is like a great golf glove. The better you take care of it and the more frequently you change them, the longer they will last. I have a pair for everyday of the week. I wore out my first pair after 12 months. I have some that are still going strong. Professional golfers replace their socks more often (usually two or three times a year).

The simple answer is to follow the care instructions on the package. For those of us like me who do not read the care instructions on the package, here we go. Wash them inside out for the best results under the normal wash cycle and place in the dryer accordingly. Boy, it is almost man-proof! One big "no-no" is bleach. If you bleach these socks, you will be buying another pair soon. The super-fine merino wool does not like bleach at all.

This is a big "NO"! Depending on the concentration levels of your bleach, you will see a rapid to almost immediate degradation of your sock. Bleach in its purest form will eat away and destroy the wool fiber. Use detergents without the word "bleach" on the label and you should be fine.

Do not panic. There is nothing wrong with your socks. Some of the super fine merino wool fibers are being released under pressure and are forming little fuzzy balls on the surface of the sock at specific micro stress points on your feet. This particular action means the socks are doing their job and protecting your feet as they have been designed.
