KENTWOOL Launches Pink Versions of Groundbreaking Performance Socks

Bubba Watson’s Favorite Brand Matches Customer Donations to
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation Throughout October

KENTWOOL – the world’s premier textile innovator and maker of premium, performance socks specifically engineered for golfers – will launch pink versions of its Tour Profile and Women’s Low Profile Skinny styles on October 1, and match $1 donations its customers make to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) through the KENTWOOL website during that month.

In October, customers purchasing any men’s or women’s KENTWOOL socks exclusively at www.kentwool.com will have the option of making a one-click donation to the BCRF, which the company will match.

Beginning November 1, KENTWOOL will match $1 donations made only in conjunction with purchase of pink Tour Profile or Women’s Low Profile Skinny socks at its website.

"We’re really passionate about combating breast cancer, and the BCRF is on the front lines of this fight,” says Mark Kent, President and CEO of KENTWOOL. "With so much attention surrounding Bubba Watson competing in and winning with a pink version of our performance socks, there’s been tremendous demand for the product. In this case, one plus one many times over can add up to a whole lot of money for a very worthy cause.”

KENTWOOL Golf Socks maximize foot comfort, increase energy levels and boost on-course performance by combining fine merino wool and the company’s "WINDspun” air-infused technology. A proprietary blend of natural and high-tech fibers help KENTWOOL Golf Socks create an innovative, micro-climate system for superior moisture management and wicking, as well as odor control.

Enhanced cushioning at strategic micro-stress points along the foot result in unrivalled, abrasion-proof comfort round after round. Sophisticatedly-engineered heel, toe and bridge elements designed with advanced reinforcement provide maximum support and protection against injury.

Retailing for $19.95-$24.95, the ankle-length Tour Profile and longer Tour Standard models are also available in colors natural or black, at select green-grass locations and www.kentwool.com.

In addition to Watson, KENTWOOL premium performance golf socks are worn in competition by many Tour players, including Jonathan Byrd, Charles Warren, Kevin Johnson, Dustin Bray, Kristy McPherson, Sarah Kemp, Jenny Gleason and Anna Scott.
