Our Socks Rock!
February 1st, 2010, was the official lift-off date, and at 2:11 AM that morning we registered our first official sale. From that moment on, the world’s best golf sock began selling from coast-to-coast – the beauty of e-commerce.
The on-line sales blitz followed our formal introduction at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando the last week of January – where our socks were showcased in a state-of-the-art KENTWOOL TOUR display, and social media strategies were in high gear. We had an impressive array of visitors who tried out the KENTWOOL TOUR Golf Socks for themselves, ranging from Golf Digest’s Fashion Director to Tom Fazio. The response we received was phenomenal, because ultimately, our socks do all the talking.
In fact, a buyer for one of the country’s top golf clubs initially stated that she didn’t think "wool golf socks” would appeal to her members – but when she tried the socks on, she immediately ordered 90 pairs. That’s just one of many great stories and testimonials we’ll look forward to sharing. Like I’ve said, to wear them is to love them.
